Weymouth & Portland are popular destinations for anglers with two busy harbours and Chesil beach attracting visitors from across the UK.

Discarded & lost fishing gear is not only unsightly it frequently kills wildlife.

Take 5

We support & promote the Take 5 scheme, which encourages anglers to keep our beaches clean. The scheme founded by the angling trust is based around taking 5 minutes to tidy up or remove 5 items of litter each visit.

Tackle Bins

Our tackle bins can be found along the local coast at popular angling marks. The bins allow for the safe disposal of all tackle from hooks 7 lures to line for recycling.

The bins are sponsored by Sakuma Tackle.

Line Recycling

All the fishing line we remove from our tackle bins is sent to the Anglers National Line Recycling Scheme. The scheme founded by anglers & run by anglers recycles line from across the UK.

Litter Picks

We work with angling groups to host litter picks on Chesil beach & Radipole lake to keep the popular angling locations free of angling litter and safe for wildlife.
